Youth and Family Assistance's organizational mission is to provide a comprehensive network of programsthat serve the needs of youth and families in high-risk situations. Youth and Family Assistance is dedicated to helping people help themselves.

Description

Youth and Family Assistance (YFA) began operation in 1976 as part of alocal YMCA's youth development efforts and became an independent non-profit organization in 1989. Presently, we provide nine separate programs offering services in four main areas: homeless and runaway youth; violence andabuse prevention; substance abuse treatment and education; and general youth and family support.
