Mission Statement

The All-Aboard Tutoring/Mentoring Program is an early intervention educational program designed to improve the academic performance of at-risk children in order to prevent failure in Kindergarten and First Grade.

Description

The All-Aboard Tutoring/Mentoring Program is a component of The Children's Psychiatric Center, Inc. The All-Aboard program is an educational service provided by CPC. The program recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to work one-on-one with Kindergarten and First Grade students in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The children are identified as being at-risk of not continuing to the next grade level by their teachers or school counselors.
