Seattle Center Academy

Description

For two weeks this summer you are invited to work with 275 King County 7th and 8th graders who come to the Seattle Center to learn about the arts. Now in its ninth year the Academy has not only brought a diverse group of students together in a peaceful, creative and fun atmosphere, but have also built partnerships between over 25 professional arts organizations including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Earshot Jazz, KCTS/Channel 9, Photographic Center School, Pottery Northwest and Cornish College of the Arts. This summer you can work at SCA as Teaching Assistants to some of the most talented artists in town, practice your art and work with kids.
