Professionally trained adults offer free, confidential telephone contact with callers on four help-lines. (Crisis Line, Teen Talk, Chatterline, Sexual Assault Response) The Crisis Line agency's non-judgmental listeners help sort through problems, suggest appropriate referral information and services in the community, and when the problem is to much for the caller to handle alone, provide emergency crisis intervention.Crisis line of Central Virginia, Inc. has become a leader in identifying individual and family problems in Lynchburg and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell. Staff members provide preventative community education through informative programs on a wide variety of topics.
