Youth Encouragement Services

Description

The sole purpose of Youth Encouragement Services is to provide for the needs of underprivileged children living in inner-city Nashville. Our programs are offered after school, on weekends, and all day during the summer. The YES organized programs give children a safe place to play, relax, do schoolwork, participate in sports, develop relational skills and learn moral values. Services currently provided to YES children include the following: tutoring, computer classes, job skills training, after school and summer programs, Back-to-School Store, Christmas Store, basketball league, summer camp, Honor Roll trip, college scholarships, field trips, and other cultural and recreational activities. Volunteers are needed to spend time with our children and serve as positive influences in their lives.
