Mission Statement

We believe that "It takes an entire village to raise a child." Our mission is to provide early intervention services to at-risk youth between the ages of 7-16 years. The goal is to reach youth before more serious problems occur.

Description

We are a non-profit program of Lincoln Park funded by Community Block Grants and County funds. We work with Lincoln Park youth between the ages of 7-16 and their families. All of our services are free and confidential. Our services include: one-to-one volunteer mentorship; community work service; parenting workshops; growth skills classes for youth; recreational activities; and referral services. We work with youth who are referred by juvenile court, community schools, parents, police, churches, and self-referrals. The majority of youth we service are at-risk, and may have the following concerns: school problems; behavioral problems; lifestyle crises; and minor offenses. We are not able to service youth who have committed major offenses or who are violent.
