Family Guidance Center of Alabama, Inc., is dedicated to strengthening families through partnering with families, organizations, and communities and through the provision of an accessible comprehensive system of coordinated programs and services designed to enable people of all ages in Alabama to envision and achieve their goals.

Description

The program provides services to eligible adults who are physically and/or mentally impaired for the purpose of maintaining or improving their level of functioning. The Center offers clients the opportunity to socialize and also provides assistance to families who have responsibility for an impaired adult who cannot be left alone during the daytime. The program serves participants who reside in Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore and Lowndes counties. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and meet other eligibility requirements.
