Habitat of Evansville is very well managed and uses their funds efficiently. They need office and construction volunteers. In both environments, the people you work with are very appreciative, work with you to help you learn new skills, and have a great sense of camaraderie. I like the faith based aspect, too.

Interning with Habitat of Evansville was a remarkable experience that led me to my first job. Working front desk in the office was my favorite because I got to meet new people and build relationships with staff and future homeowners. I would recommend volunteering in the office and/or on the build sites to anyone interested in gaining or maintaining communications and construction skills.
Way to go Habitat!
