Mission Statement

Orchestra Atlanta is a small non-profit arts organization that presents professional classical chamber music and jazz performances to greater metro Atlanta audiences. It also produces and offers scholarships for summer music camps in June and July for Orchestra-Band and Jazz middle and high school students. "Jazz Orchestra Atlanta" serves as the primary performance ensemble, focusing on the classic repertoire of jazz greats such as Mary Lou Williams, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and other arrangers.

Description

Jazz Orchestra Atlanta will perform "Walkin' and Swingin': The Sacred and Secular Music of Mary Lou Williams" at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta on Saturday, February 16th at 8PM.
