Mission Statement

The purposes and objectives of the Corps shall be to render pre-hospital emergency care and to transport the injured, wounded, sick, infirm and aged persons requiring transportation by ambulance to hospitals or other places for medical treatment; provide free of charge wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes, etc.; provide ambulance standby at community events. All the above services shall be rendered only to persons residing in College Point or to those working or visiting within College Point boundaries

Description

The College Point Community Ambulance Corps is an all volunteer emergency ambulance service that serves the College Point, Queens, NY area. Members who volunteer and become certified (training provided) as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) have the opportunity to work in the EMS field in the public/private sector. A great opportunity for a young person starting out or a career change to the health field. Ideal for students studying medicine or for those needing community service credit.
