Description

The Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) is the local agency responsible for protecting environmental quality in Dade County. DERM programs protect the quality of our air, drinking water supply, Biscayne Bay, freshwater wetlands bordering the Everglades and tree and forest resources. DERM employs people from a wide variety of backgrounds such as marine biology, engineering, education, chemistry, geology, public administration, computer systems,etc.
