Mission Statement

Founded in 1967 by bestselling author Cleveland Amory, on the motto "to speak for those who can't," The Fund for Animals uses education, litigation, legislation, and hands-on care to protect wildlife.

Description

The Fund uses education, litigation, legislation, and hands-on care to work for the protection of wildlife. Among other programs, The Fund promotes humane education in schools, works on state and federal legislation to end cruel hunting and trapping practices, and helps homeowners solve urban wildlife problems humanely and effectively.The Fund operates regional program offices around the country and four world-famous animal care facilities.
