Mission Statement

It is the mission of CASA of Larimer County to advocate for safe, nurturing, and permanent connections to family and community so children who have experienced abuse and neglect have the opportunity to thrive.

Description

We accomplish our mission through two programs; Court Appointed Special Advocates and Supervised Exchange and Visitation. While we provide different services through each program, both programs work to ensure the safety of children in our community while providing objective documentation to help the courts determine the best interest for children. While we do assist the courts, we are not a government organization. We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations and volunteers. CASA of Larimer County serves children in the 8th Judicial District. In the 2019 judicial fiscal year, more than 600 children were involved in Dependency & Neglect cases, but due to limited funding and volunteers, we were only able to provide an advocate for 327 of these children. The need is great and we encourage you to join us as we grow to meet the needs of children recovering from abuse and neglect.
