Mission Statement

It is the Mission of the Soldiers Delight Volunteer Program to be an integral part of the goals to protect, restore, and educate about the natural, cultural, and historical uniqueness of Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area. The Volunteer Program will provide volunteers with duties congruent with their interests and their needs to be challenged and enriched and to have fun; Volunteers will serve the environment and the community as they use their talents and abilities and gain skills and leadership in the areas of visitor interpretation, resource management, environmental, cultural, and historical education and protection.
