Mission Statement

The mission of the Boulder County AIDS Project is twofold: To provide support, advocacy and education to those in our community who are infected with or affected by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and to serve as an outreach and information center to prevent the further transmission of HIV and the resulting Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

Description

BCAP provides client services, community outreach and education, and volunteer opportunities. Client services include emergency financial assistance, case management, a 'buddy' program, support groups, and a food bank. Community outreach and education includes an AIDS Information Line, a speakers bureau, a resource center, a treatment library, a condom squad, population specific outreach programs, and a Man2Man connection program.
