Description

Bread & Roses offers housing and support to people living with HIV/AIDS at three locations: McKinney Stamford, McKinney Fairfield and Bread & Roses Georgetown. These programs assist individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in stabilization and transition into independent living. In addition to these services, The Seed Fund provides quality of life grants to children affected by HIV/AIDS. The Holiday Gift Collection provides more than 10,000 gifts to more than 2,000 children in Fairfield and New Haven counties affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty.

Participants in the McKinney Stamford program learn new skills, improve their education, understand how to become and stay healthy physically and mentally, as well as prepare for living independently in the community. Families that reside with us in the Fairfield and Georgetown residences have access to quality schools and safe neighborhoods for the children.
