The Santa Barbara Foundation is a community foundation established in 1928 to enrich the lives of the people of Santa Barbara County through philanthropy. To achieve this mission, the Foundation will:*Serve as a leader, catalyst, and resource for philanthropy.*Strive for measurable community improvement through strategic funding in such fields as the arts, education, the environment, health, human services, youth and recreation.*Promote partnerships to address important community issues and leverage resources to meet community needs.*Build and prudently manage a growing endowment for the community's present and future needs.*Provide secure, flexible, and effective opportunities for donors to improve their community.

The Santa Barbara Special Needs Adaptive Programs (est 2009) is a recent affiliate of the Santa Barbara Foundation is a community foundation established in 1928 to enrich the lives of the people of Santa Barbara County through philanthropy.

Bringing together our community of organizations,programs, resources, information and activties that serve individuals with special needs and their families. Please give us a call and let us know how you would like to be involved - Volunteer, Donate, Support.
