Mission Statement

Columbus Developmental Center (C.D.C.) is home to adults with mental retardation and/or other developmental disabilities. It is our mission to provide a residential living environment accepting of each person's individual talents and accomplishments and an atmosphere inspiring personal growth and skill development. To this end, cdc provides an array of services in compliance with federal standards governing intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICF/MR). These services are designed to occur in the most natural settings, capturing opportunities in which all citizens of the community participate.
