Mission Statement

Run for Research is a non-profit organization based in Annandale, Virginia whose purpose is to work towards the eradication of HIV and AIDS through: 1)Organizing and managing a 5 kilometer race through downtown Washington, DC; 2) raising funds from runner participation and corporate sponsorships; and 3) distributing fund to local and national AIDS-related charities that sponsor or support AIDS-related educational and research efforts.

We are an all-volunteer organization which depends upon the generosity of individuals and corporations to combat HIV/AIDS.
