Description

The New Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and assistance of terminally ill patients and their families. Mrs. Carol Jenkins the founder of Priority Hospice Care, Inc. saw the need to reach and support terminally ill patients with little or no insurance coverage and founded The New Hope Foundation to provide humane and supportive services to indigent, terminally ill persons of Nashville and it's surrounding areas. Broad ranges of needs are met through The New Hope Foundation. Hospice care ensures that clients receive a special kind of care designed to support individuals during the final stages of a terminal illness. The New Hope Foundation supports the philosophy of hospice enabling the client to receive comfort and live with dignity through the final days of their lives. The New Hope Foundation conducts community outreach and education of hospice and terminal diseases. The education and outreach components are to inform community based organizations, church communities, physicians and other health care entities of the benefits of hospice care for patients and family members facing the end stages of a terminal illness. The New Hope Foundation was incorporated in 1999.
