As a leader in volunteerism in New Jersey, Jersey Cares increases the level of meaningful volunteer engagement by creating and managing efficient, impactful projects that address critical community-identified needs.
Description
Jersey Cares works to meet community needs by making volunteering easy and meaningful. We provide flexible, structured, team-based opportunities for volunteers to impact a variety of nonprofit organizations and bring positive change to local communities. Jersey Cares works directly with local organizations to identify their needs, and trains volunteer leaders to manage projects that address those needs. Most projects are ongoing, and volunteers (other than the Project Coordinators) commit to only one day at a time. All of this enables you to volunteer whenever and however fits your interests and schedule, and yet always make a real difference. Simply choose "Volunteer" from the left menu to get started on your volunteering adventure!

Because I like how the website is set up and it is very accessible! Easy to sign up, no hard task, and easy to find what you are looking for! Thank you Volunteer Match! It's like we are giving back by signing up to volunteer, but it's also Volunteer Match giving back as well for giving people the opportunity to sign up! Once again, thank you!

Me and my friends love animals and I think that we would be very good for the job together. She has a lot of pets so we have some experiences.

Jersey Cares is the best website I could imagine for people to sign up for volunteer work. The only frustrating thing is when all available spots are filled but then you show up for the event and only one other person shows up. This makes it unfair for people who get waitlisted (such as myself currently) for events that they would very much like to be a part of. There needs to be a way to contact the event directly and ask to be put on the list as an additional, and they can contact you if all people actually do arrive.

This organization is similar to volunteer match and lets you search and sign up for events in your local area a great idea and its seems there is a office in every state.
