We provide information to consumers to assist them in avoiding problems and dealing with the marketplace. We provide informal mediation services to consumers and businesses to resolve problems. We bring legal action in the name of the State of Washington against businesses which harm the public by repeatedly using unfair and deceptive business practices.We seek to change or clarify consumer protection laws through the Legislature.
