Mission Statement

Sanctuary Arts School's mission is to utilize glass arts to heal and bring joy to underserved and at-risk communities, by providing free art classes, workshops, and lectures.

Description

Our nonprofit programming reaches over 8000 people in Caddo Parish. We provide free art classes to the underserved communities and those at risk. We reach the children in affordable housing and the elderly in nursing homes. We provide free art classes for over 12 other nonprofits including The Providence House, Volunteers of America, Goodwill Industries, Common Ground, The Lovewell Center (The HUB), The Renzi Education & Art Center, Community Renewal, Louisiana Association for the Blind, Volunteers for Youth Justice, Shreve Memorial LIbraries and we provide free glassblowing classes for military with PTSD. This is the Glass Warrior program.
