Mission Statement

At Henry’s Place, our mission is to provide life-impacting, no-cost Christian summer camp experiences for at-risk urban youth, offering them hope, encouragement, and positive mentorship. Open to youth of all backgrounds and faiths, our programs are designed to uplift and empower those from underserved communities. Throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons, we serve as a full-service Camp and Retreat Center, creating a space for growth, connection, and transformation year-round.

Description

What began as a bold vision in memory of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Henry Prendes has grown into a life-changing mission for youth facing difficult life circumstances. Henry gave his life in the line of duty, protecting the very community he loved. To honor his legacy, Henry’s Place was founded to offer hope, healing, and opportunity to kids who need it most.
