Organization Information
Mission Statement
GFWC is an international organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
Description
The Dublin San Ramon Women's Club is a 60+ year chapter of the GFWC/CFWC located in the Tri Valley region of the greater San Francisco East Bay. We are a vibrant group of women who devote ourselves to improving our communities and supporting national and international organizations. We work to promote and support education at our local school districts with scholarships, art education in our yearly Student Art Contest for all students in K-12 schools, and essay/pride contest in the City of Dublin. We support preserving natural resources and reforestation through the Penny Pines program and more. Our twice yearly major fundraisers focus on supporting families, children, youth, homelessness, and veterans. Nonprofit support can include Blue Star Moms, Childrens' Emergency Food Bank, Agape Village, Fostering Wishes, Winter Nights Shelter, Hospice of the East Bay, Valley Humane Society and more. The DSRWC has been recognized by CFWC for the dedication and work done by our volunteers. Civic involvement with the cities of San Ramon and Dublin and their local chambers of commerces and Senior Centers are additional areas of interest. Community residents can find the DSRWC at St. Patrick's Day Parade, Summer Concerts in the Park, Bike Rodeo's and wherever we are invited. We invite any and all ages to join us inner important work.
