Mission Statement

The Mid City Arts & Music Festival (MCAMF) is a free, community-driven celebration dedicated to uplifting Los Angeles’ Mid City neighborhood through art, music, and cultural connection. Our mission is to create an inclusive space where local artists, small businesses, and neighbors come together to showcase creativity, build community pride, and highlight the diverse voices that make LA vibrant. Volunteers are the heart of this work. Whether assisting with artist activations, vendor support, or guest experience, our volunteers help bring this festival to life -- fostering joy, connection, and access to the arts for thousands of attendees. By volunteering with MCAMF, you're joining a movement rooted in equity, creativity, and community collaboration.

Description

The Mid City Arts & Music Festival was founded by in June 2017 by community partners with the support of the Mid City Neighborhood Council and CD10. The festival is funded through the neighborhood council outreach committee, CD10 - City Council Representative, Heather Hutt, and other community partners, such as St. Elmo's Village, The Ebony Repertory Theater, & Tipping The Scale. The festival is FREE to the public, and aims to highlight our local artists, musicians, community organizations, and businesses. Festival goers enjoy food trucks, live music, live art, and most of all, the rich cultural diversity that makes Mid City great.
