Description
Legacy Family Center: Building a Legacy of Empowerment
Our Story
Founded in 2013, Legacy Family Center was born from a vision to uplift West African refugee and immigrant families in Minnesota. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a trusted community anchor-offering holistic, culturally grounded support that meets families where they are and walks with them toward where they want to be.
Our Mission
We empower families to thrive by providing culturally appropriate services in education, workforce development, wellness, and social service navigation. Our goal is to minimize systemic barriers and foster self-sufficiency, dignity, and belonging.
Why You Matter to Our Capital Campaign
- You bring the mission to life. You are often the first to share our story with the community. Your passion and personal connections make our campaign relatable and real.
- You can expand our reach. Through peer-to-peer outreach, you can help us connect with new donors, community leaders, and partners who may not yet know our work.
