The Autonomy Project creates safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, sex worker, and creative communities through education, mutual aid, and community-building. We are committed to dismantling systemic oppression and fostering radical autonomy, healing, and collective liberation.

Description

The Autonomy Project is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, sex worker, neurodivergent, and creative communities. Based in Columbus, Ohio, we provide educational programming, mutual aid, and community events that center radical autonomy, collective care, and systemic change. We believe that everyone deserves access to spaces where they can heal, create, and thrive-especially those historically pushed to the margins. Through workshops, outreach, resource sharing, and cultural programming, we confront injustice, uplift resilience, and build networks of support rooted in liberation and accountability. Our community is a haven for truth-tellers, change-makers, and anyone ready to imagine a more just and joyful world.
