Mission Statement
At Camp Jewell House, our mission is to foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of K-12 scholars through innovative performing arts education and comprehensive support services. We are committed to addressing the core challenges our students face by providing dedicated therapy--group, individual, and family--three days a week. Through this holistic approach, we empower scholars to develop resilience, confidence, and skills necessary to lead productive, fulfilling lives beyond our program.
Description
Camp Jewell House Inc., (CJH) is an accredited private school that takes a holistic approach to education. CJH is designed to work with grades K-12. We offer an individualized therapeutic curriculum that meets the individual needs of each student.
Our students are placed in a small group setting which enables them to matriculate through the academic process at his/her own pace. We are committed to achieving success with every student who enrolls at CJH. CJH has the highest level of accreditation, Accredited With Quality through the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
CJH is a Title I recipient where children receive specialized tutoring (Math and Reading). At CJH, academics are the priority; yet we believe that athletics and student life have their place in education and developing well-rounded students. Therefore, in addition, we offer participation in competitive sports, performing arts and music.
