You’ll support your mentee through regular meetups, group activities, and life conversations. Sometimes that means helping with school, sometimes it’s just playing basketball and talking about life." You’re not a parent, teacher, or therapist. You’re a consistent friend with wisdom and guidance to share."
Expectations
Meet consistently (Once a Month)
Be on time and communicate if you need to reschedule
Model respect, honesty, and good character
Encourage, don’t lecture
Respect confidentiality (but report anything that threatens safety)
Participate in trainings and group events
