Mission Statement

Urban Produce Push (UPP)--a transformative initiative, is uniquely positioned to work to address food insecurity in the KC community. UPP seeks to bridge gaps in the food supply chain, partnering with local farmers and food distributors to deliver fresh, nutrient-dense produce directly to food pantries and communities in need across Missouri and Kansas.

Description

Urban Produce Push evolved from After the Harvest which over a decade of rescuing over 33 million pounds of fresh produce to nourish families across Greater Kansas City.

UPP rescues fresh produce from wholesalers, farms and urban gardens to bridge gaps in the food supply chain, partnering with local farmers and food distributors to deliver fresh, nutrient-dense produce directly to food pantries and communities in need across Missouri and Kansas. This evolution, guided by ATH’s foresight and collaborative spirit, ensures the fight against food insecurity continues stronger than ever.
