Since 1962 the mission of The Arc of Adams County is to protect, preserve and promote the human and civil rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
Description
Our Purpose:
To protect and promote the human rights of children, families and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Thereby, ensuring their full inclusion and participation in society. The Arc of Adams County achieves this through a variety of initiatives, including individual advocacy, systemic and policy advocacy, training, fundraising and community outreach.
