As a volunteer for USA Baseball Homegrown events, you play a vital role in creating a positive, welcoming, and inspiring environment for young athletes and their families. Our mission is to support local communities by bringing the game of baseball back to where it all began--through the leadership of USA Baseball alumni giving back in their hometowns. By serving at these events, you help ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants while celebrating the values of teamwork, inclusion, and community pride that are at the heart of the Homegrown initiative.
Description
USA Baseball is the national governing body for the sport of baseball in the United States and is committed to growing the game at every level. From grassroots initiatives to national team development, USA Baseball leads the way in promoting inclusivity, sportsmanship, and excellence both on and off the field.
Through a wide range of programs-including coaching education, youth development, player safety, and community outreach-USA Baseball works to ensure that every athlete, coach, and fan has the opportunity to experience the game in a positive and meaningful way. As stewards of the sport, we believe baseball has the power to connect communities, teach life skills, and inspire the next generation.
