Mission Statement
River Valley Adult Learning Alliance provides free, accessible, and innovative educational support, programming and resources for adults and their families in Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Pope and Yell Counties. We help adults meet their learning goals and build and support interconnected and thriving communities of lifelong learners.
Description
We help adults pass the GED, learn to read, learn English, gain digital literacy skills, and improve their workforce readiness skills. We also offer hands-on language and literacy through our teaching garden partnership with the McElroy House: Organization for Cultural Resources. Volunteer tutors are the backbone of our organization!
