Organization: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP) Location: Remote or San Diego, CA (Hybrid options available) Commitment: Project-based, flexible hours Description: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP), a youth-led nonprofit providing applied education through the arts, is seeking a Psychology Mentor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help us shape youth programs that are emotionally supportive, developmentally appropriate, and impactful. You won’t be doing therapy or delivering direct services. Instead, your role is to mentor our student leaders and program developers, offering insight into how today’s youth think, feel, and grow-so they can design programs that resonate with their peers. What You’ll Do: Consult with MYP leadership and students on youth psychology and mental wellness. Mentor students working on program development, offering input on emotional and developmental alignment. Help integrate strategies that build self-esteem, social connection, and purpose. Support creation of tools for assessing program effectiveness in terms of psychological impact. Why Volunteer With Us? Organization: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP) Location: Remote or San Diego, CA (Hybrid options available) Commitment: Project-based, flexible hours Description: Miracle Youth Productions (MYP), a youth-led nonprofit that provides hands-on education in theater and video production, is seeking a Technology Mentor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support student teams in managing and building the technology backbone of our creative work. You won’t be doing the technical work yourself-you’ll be mentoring students who will lead the development and implementation. This includes web development, media collaboration using Blackmagic Design Cloud with DaVinci Resolve, and designing a digital system for organizing and archiving video assets post-production. What You’ll Do: Mentor students in the ongoing development and maintenance of MYP’s website. Guide student editors and media managers in using DaVinci Resolve with Blackmagic Cloud for collaborative post-production. Help design a student-run system for archiving, retrieving, and managing media files, including both working files and final deliverables. Recommend best practices and tools for version control, file organization, and secure cloud storage. Why Volunteer With Us? In this role, you won’t be executing marketing projects yourself-you’ll be mentoring students as they work on real marketing projects with MYP and local businesses or nonprofits. Your role is to provide expert guidance, structure, and feedback while students learn by doing. What You’ll Do: Help design a practical, educational marketing program. Mentor students as they define small marketing projects, develop strategies, and create deliverables (images, videos, written collateral, etc.). Advise on best practices and help students measure and evaluate outcomes. Ensure the program also supports MYP’s own outreach-helping us attract more businesses, students, and mentors.
