Mission Statement
Hope In Her (HIH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating health inequities and enhancing the healing justice of Black girls and women who have been exposed to interpersonal violence. Our mission is to center the healing of Black women and girls who've been exposed to family violence, adultification, and systemic trauma.
Description
Equality & Equity: Upholding the belief in equal rights and opportunities for black girls and women, while also addressing the systemic barriers that contribute to health inequities.
Advocacy and Voice: Providing a platform for black girls and women to have their voices heard, advocating for policy reform and structural change that protects and promotes their rights.
Empathy and Support: Committing to understanding and addressing the emotional, physical, and psychological needs of survivors of family violence.
