Mission Statement

To reflect Native American Indian values in meeting the spiritual, social, nutritional and physical needs of all who participate, especially those of greatest social and economic need. Indian Council of the Elderly strives to assist each Elder with the capacity to live independently.

Description

Indian Council of the Elderly provides nutritious meals, cultural programs, health education, transportation, and social activities to both Native and non-Native American Elders living throughout Milwaukee County. We partner with others in our community to provide on-site and off-site health promotion and disease prevention education, exercise and assistance with resources for older adults. We make an impact by providing Elders with opportunities to reconnect with their families, friends, traditions, and culture.
