Loops for Smiles exists to spread kindness and comfort through the creation and donation of handmade items, empowering volunteers to use their time and talents--whether through crochet, knitting, sewing, or other crafts--to bring warmth, compassion, and joy to those in need.

Description

Loops for Smiles is a student-founded, volunteer-powered nonprofit based in College Station, Texas, serving communities throughout Texas from the Brazos Valley, Montgomery County, and beyond. We are dedicated to spreading kindness and comfort through the creation and donation of handmade items.

Our volunteers craft a variety of thoughtful pieces-crocheted, knitted, sewn, or otherwise handmade-such as hats, blankets, baby items, and more, all designed to brighten the lives of individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. Whether you're an experienced maker or just starting out, everyone is welcome in our growing community. Together, we believe in the power of small, intentional acts to inspire connection, compassion, and lasting impact-spreading smiles one handmade gift at a time.
