Description

The Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (CAL), originally founded in 1953 as Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland, is an affiliate of the National Young Audiences Arts for Learning network. Over the decades, CAL has grown into a leader in arts-integrated education-an approach that combines the arts with core academic subjects to enhance learning and engagement. CAL’s programs promote deeper understanding of academic content, support social-emotional development, and build critical 21st-century skills.

To date, CAL has reached nearly 7 million young people across 18 counties through in-school programs, professional development for educators, and community initiatives. By using the arts to close learning gaps and foster creative thinking, CAL helps students succeed in school, prepare for the workforce, and thrive beyond the classroom.
