Mission Statement

Our Mission / Focus /Goals are dedicated to empowering the homeless, formerly incarcerated, and underserved individuals in our community to achieve self-sufficiency and thrive. We envision a future where everyone has access to the resources, support, and guidance they need to build a positive and fulfilling life.

Description

Since our founding in June 2022, we have been serving our community through outreach efforts, directly addressing the challenges of fragmented support for vulnerable populations, such as veterans, the unhoused and those who are or have been justice-involved.

By leveraging our President Daryl Bouie’s expertise as a community health worker, peer support specialist, and his own lived experiences from being a 3rd-Striker, a graduate of The VTC’s Transformative Reentry program, to having been released from parole supervision for 2 years, he has been conducting crucial outreach to veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those transitioning from incarceration back into the community.

Recognizing that numerous helpful resources exist but are often difficult to navigate and access, Reintegration Services aims to help with accessing services, with life skills, job skills, resume preparation and much more, ensuring that individuals can more easily and quickly connect with the support they need. We have recently applied to become Medi-Cal Providers and when we get approved we will be able to offer more types of help, and from more than just one person as we grow.
