Gesher Peace Initiative is looking for passionate, dedicated and reliable volunteers interested in being part of an international effort to make real change in the lives of sexual violence survivors. This position plays an important role in assessing the psychological readiness of CRSV to participate in resilience coaching. Also, this position provides mental health support to our resilience coaches and heavily traumatized survivors. For this role, we are seeking individuals with licenses in mental health, trauma-informed practices, and experience with sexual abuse survivors. Ideally, this candidate will have a passion for culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed therapy, and empowering sexual violence survivors. Key Responsibilities: CRSV Survivor Case Management Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional stability and coaching readiness of survivors. Provide short-term therapeutic support when survivors are not yet ready for coaching. Coordinate with case workers to create individual care plans. Maintain accurate and confidential session notes and assessment documentation. Support the transition of survivors from therapy to resilience coaching. Resilience Coach Case Management: Facilitate mental health check-ins and emotional debriefs for volunteer coaches. Provide confidential counseling sessions upon request. Offer guidance and tools to help case workers manage vicarious trauma, burnout, and boundary-setting. Qualifications Master's Degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field. Licensed or registered mental health professional. Demonstratable experience in therapy, social work, case management, counselling, or related fields. Strong interpersonal skills including communicating with empathy and sensitivity, and the ability to work cross culturally. Arabic language skills are considered an asset. Experience and deep understanding of sexual violence, trauma responses and PTSD Experience working with displaced or vulnerable populations is an asset. Experience working with conflict/crisis settings.

Ideally, this candidate will have a passion for digital communication, international relations, and sexual violence awareness. The purpose of this position is to support/encourage survivors every week. For this role, we are seeking individuals with experience in social work and/or therapy, and trauma-informed practices. Ideally, this candidate will have a passion for trauma-informed coaching, and empowering and encouraging those they serve. Key Responsibilities: Case Management Create and develop a trusted, respectful, and safe atmosphere for each survivor. Set realistic, achievable, and survivor-led goals for each survivor Offer consistent emotional encouragement through trauma-informed approaches. Track and report each survivor's weekly progress Group Facilitation Leading small group support sessions with compassion and respect Moderating active group chats, ensuring they remain safe, respectful, and supportive environments. Qualifications A strong interest in therapy, and social work Demonstratable experience in social work, case management, counselling, or related fields Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, friendliness, compassion, care, active listening, nonjudgemental, and culturally sensitive. Arabic language skills are considered an asset. Experience working with displaced or vulnerable populations is an asset.
