About Us: Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities. Role Summary: As a Community Outreach & Partnership Coordinator, you’ll be the bridge between our organization and the public. Your role includes: Contacting businesses and donors for sponsorships, in-kind donations, and partnerships Representing Dulce Vida at events, tabling, and outreach opportunities Handing out flyers and engaging with the public to spread awareness Sharing our message across social media platforms Collaborating with our team to identify new outreach opportunities What We're Looking For: Strong communication and people skills Passion for our mission and ability to represent it with enthusiasm Self-motivated and reliable Experience in outreach, marketing, or fundraising is a plus Why Volunteer With Us: Make a meaningful impact in the lives of animals Join a compassionate and supportive team Gain hands-on experience in animal rescue and adoption Flexible schedule with remote work options

Join Dulce Vida Animal Rescue as an Event Volunteer & Coordinator About Us: Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay/neuter services and advocate for responsible pet ownership through community outreach and education. Role Summary: Adoption events are where stories begin-where rescued animals meet their future families. As an Event Volunteer & Coordinator, you'll play a key role in making these moments happen. You'll help organize and run adoption and community events that are welcoming, efficient, and heartwarming. From managing setup and volunteer teams to ensuring the animals’ safety and comfort, you’ll help create a smooth, positive experience for everyone involved. You will: Plan and coordinate adoption and community events Manage logistics including setup, supplies, and animal handling zones Supervise and support volunteers before and during events Communicate with adopters, visitors, and rescue staff on-site Ensure the event runs safely, smoothly, and with lots of heart What We’re Looking For: Great organizational and communication skills Comfort working with animals and people alike A calm, solutions-oriented mindset in busy environments Event planning experience is a plus, but not required Why Volunteer With Us: Help make real matches between animals and loving families Be part of joyful, high-impact events that change lives Work with a passionate, mission-driven team

We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities. Role Summary: Do you love scrolling through adorable pet photos and have a good eye for visual storytelling? We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to help us choose and prep the best photos of our rescues for adoption posts. You'll support our team by selecting standout images, making light edits to enhance them, and ensuring our furry friends shine online. You will: Review batches of pet photos and pick the best ones for social media Make light edits to improve image quality (brightness, color, cropping, etc.) Organize and share selected images with our content team Collaborate with us via Dropbox or shared albums (iPhone a plus!) Role Summary: Foster families are the heart of our rescue efforts-and we need a compassionate, organized Foster Coordinator to support them. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for our network of foster volunteers, helping to match pets with homes, provide resources, and ensure every foster feels connected and confident. Role Summary: A picture is worth a thousand second chances. As our Photography & Video Content Volunteer, you’ll help bring our mission to life through compelling visual stories. Whether you’re capturing the joy of an adoption event or the quiet resilience of a newly rescued pup, your images and videos will help us connect with our supporters and grow our impact.
