Mission Statement

Empower Cocke County desires to see positive life change by helping individuals cease destructive behavior through following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We intend to do this by calling local bodies of Christ together, working side by side in one accord, to accomplish what no church can do alone.

Description

Empower Cocke County was formed to serve and educate the neediest areas of our county: substance abuse, hope, marriage and parenting, and finance.
Our ministries consist of: Living Free classes, a thrift store, and disaster relief. As we re-open, we look forward to opening our Family Home, which will provide family housing. We will be reigniting MyRide, which is a service to seniors. Our Empower Youth Outreach Center will be completed by 2028.
Ultimately, we know that God wants to restore Cocke County and we get the opportunity to be a part of that. Due to Hurricane Helene, we have been closed for the past six months. During that time, we have served hundreds as the flood resouce hub. We have also undergone a massive renovation. By July, we look forward to celebrating our Grand Re-Opening!
