Mission Statement

We are a small group of passionate volunteers who deeply care for the animals in our community. We are committed to creating radical change in the lives of community cats through TNR (trap, neuter, return), fostering, and adoption. We provide life saving care for our communities most vulnerable cats and kittens. Getting these cats and kittens spayed/neutered, rabies vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated dramatically improves their quality of life and reduces the number of unwanted stray cats. We saw the desperate need in our area for this type of program and have worked hard to acquire non profit status so that we can HELP MORE KITTIES! We are currently serving these areas in North Georgia; Fort Oglethorpe, Ringgold, Rossville, and Chickamauga. (If we have availability we will sometimes work outside these areas and in the Chattanooga TN area.)

Description

We are a dedicated group of volunteers who focus on providing TNR (trap, neuter, return) of feral and/or community cats in our area. TNR is a successful and ethical way to combat the stray cat over population and reduce suffering within existing colonies. We use humane "box traps’ to catch the kitties and bring them to spay/neuter clinics to be altered. These cats also receive rabies vaccinations, de wormer, and flea treatment while in our care. We also frequently encounter sick and/or injured cats and kittens and provide life saving care for them. The average cost of spay/neuter surgery & rabies vaccination is $75. We are solely donation based and appreciate any and all support from our community members!

We provide essential vet care to our communities most vulnerable cats and kittens. Help us give the friendly ones a life off the streets. Apply to adopt today. Our adoptable cats and kittens are mostly the result of our Trap-Neuter-Return efforts. During the TNR process we may trap friendly cats or young kittens that can be socialized. If we have space and available fosters, we occasionally accept injured/sick cats from our community and friendly strays.
