Join us at Florida Youth At Risk, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of K-12 students and underserved communities through the empowering arts of uplifting, feel good music and performance programs. Our nonprofit organization believes wholeheartedly in the profound impact that music can have-not just on individuals, but on entire communities. We are seeking team members to join us in making an impact. We have several postions available. 1.Program coordinator Summary: Brainstorming ideas, executing and evaluating youth-focused music and arts initiatives. This role ensures programs align with the organization’s mission and run efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Create and carry out youth (ages 12-25) music and art-based programs Oversee program logistics, budgets, and timetables. Oversee volunteers and program assistants. Work together with artists, community partners, and schools. Track and assess the results and efficacy of the program. Create reports for stakeholders and funders. Skills Required: Experience in youth development or arts programming Strong organizational and leadership abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills 2.Program Assistant Help in planning and arranging rehearsals, workshops, and events Encourage participant communication and registration Organize materials, supplies, and venue preparation. Keep track of attendance logs and feedback forms. Assist in making the logistics of the event go smoothly. Skills Required: Passion for youth development or the arts Reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 3.Social Media Coordinator Summary: Driving the nonprofit’s digital presence by managing and updating social media strategy, storytelling, and engagement to raise awareness and attract donors, volunteers, and youth participants. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement a content calendar for our platforms. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Make campaigns, reels, images, and postings that convey the nonprofit's mission. Monitor statistics and engagement. Keep an eye on community discussions and trends. Skills Required: Strategic thinking and creativity Experience managing social platforms Content creation and basic graphic design skills 4.Social Media Assistant Summary: Supports the Social Media Coordinator by helping create, schedule, and monitor engaging content that reflects the organization's impact and goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating content by following performers and reposting live events Draft captions, find relevant photos, and schedule posts Respond to DMs and comments(engaging followers) Help analyze metrics and suggest improvements Skills Required: Strong writing and visual storytelling abilities Creative, eager to learn, and detail-oriented Familiarity with social media platforms and tools 5.Grant coordinator Summary: Identifies, writes, and manages grant opportunities to secure funding for programs and organizational growth. Key Responsibilities: Research for grants Opportunities that support the organization's aim Compose persuasive reports and grant bids. Create a grant calendar and keep track of due dates. Oversee paperwork and compliance. Collaborate closely with the program and finance teams to deliver precise information Skills Required: Familiarity with nonprofit funding and reporting Proven experience in grant writing and research Strong written communication and project management skills 6.Grant Assistant Key Responsibilities: Assist with text editing and proposal section drafting. Investigate eligibility and possible funding. Help in gathering the necessary records and measurements Use a spreadsheet or CRM to keep track of submissions and due dates. WHY JOIN US?
