Position: Fundraiser Intern (6-month Commitment) Type: Part-time or Full-time, Remote (within ±2 hours of Saudi Arabia time) Duration: 6 months (with flexibility for exceptional candidates) Compensation: Unpaid (with mentorship and career-building opportunities). About Us Do Bold is a small but impactful organisation dedicated to advancing human rights, human dignity and decent work for all migrant workers. We have been working with migrant workers since 2013, recipient of multiple awards and featured in well known news media for our work. For more information about us click here. About this Position Do Bold works with migrant workers across the Gulf countries, many of whom face severe exploitation and are often victims of modern slavery. Given their vulnerable situation, the quickest path to restoring their freedom and dignity is through repatriation. We focus on securing their release and providing repatriation tickets, which we fundraise for. You can learn more about these women and their powerful stories by visiting our Instagram account. As a Fundraiser Intern, you’ll work directly with the leadership team and affected community members, gaining valuable experience in social change, impactful communications, and human rights. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that has a direct, positive impact on vulnerable communities. Main responsibilities: The Fundraiser Intern will be the main organizer of our fundraising campaigns aimed at supporting migrant workers to return home. You will work directly with the Director. Co-create a fundraising strategy Use social media to raise funds (Create and publish social media posts) Research and identify other potential funding sources Help draft and submit funding proposals to donors and grant-making organisations Support the creation of fundraising materials and campaigns Assist in managing donor relations and reporting Build relationships with donors About You You are an excellent writer and know how to use social media to evoke action. You understand how to write fundraising stories that are empowering to those we are serving. You are a self-starter and require minimal direction to complete tasks. You are energized by big goals. You have experience: Fundraising Creating social media posts that inspire action Strong communicator with the ability to write persuasive content Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently Passionate about human rights, social justice, and community development Very organised and detail-oriented with excellent self-management skills With excellent cross-cultural communication skills Eager to learn about issues affecting migrant workers and able to distill information about complex systems and laws into easy-to-understand messages to the community Finally, you are eager to learn, a self-starter, and require minimal direction to complete tasks. Based within ±2 CET time zone Logistics This internship position starts as soon as the right candidate is chosen. It is fully remote and open to applicants of all levels who meet the qualifications. Students wishing to complete this as an internship will have the option of receiving academic credit, as allowed by their institutions. You should: Be available to work for a minimum of 6 months. Have access to a computer, phone and internet connection Available for weekly meetings Must be based within ±2 hours of Saudi Arabia time Why This Role is Valuable: Exposure to Key Stakeholders: Fundraising is at the core of making long-term social change.
