Mission Statement
Founded in 1983, the Croton-Cortlandt Food Pantry is a community-based, 100% volunteer-run organization created to address food insecurity in Croton-on-Hudson, Cortlandt, and Peekskill, as well as surrounding communities in Westchester County.
Description
Based in the village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, we operate a Choice Pantry on the First and Third Saturdays each month on the campus of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. (Our affiliation with church is solely as a tenant.)
We currently serve over 360 households each month, an increase of 25% year-to-date over last year.
We may have opportunities for volunteers to help us operate our Choice Pantry, unload incoming food deliveries, pack fresh produce, and perform various back-office administrative functions. Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are very desirable in client-facing roles.)
