Go Local FXBG empowers underserved communities, returning citizens, youth, and local entrepreneurs through mentorship, job training, small business support, and community connection. We believe in second chances, local pride, and building a stronger future -- together.

Description

Go Local FXBG is a grassroots nonprofit based in Fredericksburg, VA, dedicated to creating pathways to opportunity and local prosperity. Founded by longtime community members and business owners, our programs include:

  • Second Chance Workforce Program - Job readiness and mentorship for returning citizens and underserved adults

  • Youth Internship & Career Pathways - Connecting high school and college students with real-world experience and mentorship

  • Local Business Accelerator - Supporting small businesses with marketing, networking, and funding opportunities

We also host community events, volunteer days, and fundraisers like "Brunch For A Cause" and "Trivia For A Cause" to engage the community and fuel our mission. Volunteers are at the heart of what we do - helping us uplift, connect, and create change where it matters most.
