Description

AI for Vietnam Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established by a global coalition of Vietnamese AI professionals, including some of the field’s leading experts. We are dedicated to driving innovation and practical adoption of AI technologies across Vietnam, with a special focus on integrating the Vietnamese language into Generative AI models. By building and sharing open-source datasets, tools, and research, we enable individuals, businesses, and public organizations to harness the power of AI in education, healthcare, finance, and beyond. We unite Vietnamese AI experts and global partners to advance education, research, and real-world AI applications in Vietnam, dedicating significant resources to integrate Vietnamese into Generative AI through open-source datasets, open-source tools, rigorous research, and community-driven collaboration to ensure seamless AI solutions. Embracing an open innovation model, we leverage our broad network and the open-source community to address both short-term and long-term objectives: in the near term, we expand Vietnamese datasets, develop user-friendly tools, and pilot AI initiatives in key areas; in the long run, we cultivate a skilled workforce, form strategic partnerships, and continuously refine open-source resources to position Vietnam at the forefront of AI innovation. Through this collaborative, transparent, and inclusive approach, we aim to empower Vietnam to become a global leader in AI-driven solutions that benefit every segment of society.
