Mission Statement
The mission of Nederland Food Pantry is to empower a thriving Peak to Peak community through respectful and compassionate basic needs support, including but not limited to relieving hunger, referral information to other social agencies and services, and limited resources for crisis situations.
Description
The Nederland Food Pantry has been a community staple since 1986, dedicated to fighting hunger and promoting self-sufficiency. We provide free, nutritious food to families in need, and have expanded our efforts to include pantry and community gardens where the Peak to Peak community can learn about sustainable gardening while growing fresh produce for our pantry. We also run a clothing closet that offers gently used clothing essentials to those who need them. In the past year, we’ve proudly served over 1,352 individuals and harvested more than 400 pounds of fresh produce, making a real difference in our community. We're excited about what we've accomplished so far and would love for you to join us as a volunteer to help us continue this important work!
